Xiao-Ping (Steven) Zhang

CEO and Co-Founder

Steven is an internationally renowned expert in information processing and big data/AI technologies. He is Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, and Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is also a Professor of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering and Professor of Finance, Ryerson University. He is the Founding Director of Communication and Signal Processing Applications Laboratory (CASPAL), Ryerson University. Steven served as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and IEEE Signal Processing letters. Steven received a B.S. and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, and holds an MBA (with Honors) in Finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

David Kedmey

President and Co-Founder

David Kedmey is President and co-founded EidoSearch with Steven Zhang. He previously worked in the mergers and acquisitions group in the investment banking division at Oppenheimer & Co in New York. Before joining Oppenheimer & Co., Mr. Kedmey worked at the Alvery Bartlett Group, where he raised capital for its hedge fund management company and for private placements in real estate and energy. He holds an M.B.A. (with Honors) in Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

David Allen

Advisor, Sales and Marketing

Dave has over 13 years of proven success leading sales growth, business development and marketing efforts with multiple companies in the Financial Services vertical. He was most recently GM for Americas at TIM Group, the world’s leading Alpha Capture network, where he ran sales and service functions for the region, drove marketing and PR efforts and was a member of the company’s steering committee responsible for strategic initiatives. He came to TIM Group via their acquisition of First Coverage, a financial technology startup.
